What is Pinedale, AZ famous for?

Founded in 1879, Pinedale Arizona is a small rural community with less than 500 residents up in the White Mountains. Leading into this small community is the only wooden covered bridge open to vehicular traffic in Arizona.

Driving through the bridge is a fun experience, and right on the other side of the bridge, you can stop and read about the history of the town. The drive up from Payson on the 260 is a beautiful drive well worth the trip with the added benefit of cooler temperatures during the summer's dog days in the Valley.

You'll find the bridge at Pinedale Rd. in Pinedale, AZ 85934.
